Corinne Mulholland is a working mum, a proud fourth-generation Queenslander, disaster management specialist, and qualified lawyer who is deeplyhonoured to represent Queensland in the Australian Senate.
Born and raised in Queensland, Corinne's roots run deep in the communities she serves. Raising her young family in the outer suburbs, she understands – from lived experience – the everyday pressures facing working families. She knows whatit's like to juggle work, school drop-offs, household bills, and the relentless cost of living. That understanding isn't academic; it drives everything she does.
Corinne's passion for making the lives of working families better is at the heart of her public service. She believes that when government works as it should, it can ease real burdens – whether that means a bulk-billed GP appointment that doesn't break the budget, childcare that doesn't cost more than a mortgage, or a fair wage that keeps up with the bills. She fights for these things because she haslived them, and because she knows families across Queensland deserve better.
Corinne is proud to be part of an Albanese Labor Government delivering real solutions – lowering the cost of living, putting money back in people's pockets, and making it easier to buy a home.
Corinne is working to make the lives of families just that little bit easier, with:
More bulk-billed healthcare, close to home – including new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics.
Affordable and accessible Early Education and Childcare.
Access to university, TAFE and apprenticeships that won't leave you with a lifetime of debt.
More housing, and a real chance at buying your own home.
Corinne has a proventrack record of delivering for working families. She fought for major infrastructure and service upgrades in the outer suburbs, including the Petrie university campus and new sporting facilities. She led a campaign that secured a much-needed MRI machine for her local hospital – because she gets results for the people who need them most.
